The critically acclaimed Bollywood blockbuster was apparently turned down by the King Khan as he felt that cricket had never worked for Bollywood in the past.
3. Rang De Basanti
Yet again; SRK’s loss proved to be Aamir Khan’s gain. Is it just us or is everyone beginning to notice a pattern here?
4. 2 States
Yes, the Bollywood movie was initially scheduled to star SRK and Priyanka Chopra. However, after PeeCee turned the role down and the makers failed to find any other suitable female lead opposite Khan, the movie landed with Arjun and Alia.
5. Taare Zameen Par
Guess who had the last laugh – Yet again?
6. Slumdog Millionaire
Millionaire he may be, but SRK missed out on his chance at Hollywood glory by rejecting this widely acclaimed movie.
7. Kaho Na Pyaar Hai
Turns out, the decision as mutual – Papa Roshan felt that SRK wouldn’t fit the bill as a young man and cast his son, Hrithik instead. Whoopsie.
